“Stereotypes: What Africans Stand to Lose” – Talk session with author Williams Ekanem.

As a Bureau Chief in Washington D.C, Williams reported from the White House, U.S. Congress, State Department, The World Bank/IMF and the United Nations. He facilitated annual workshops for State Department on, “Doing Business in Africa,” a workshop for United States Diplomats on duty tours to Africa.

Please join us for:

– The book presentation “What Africans stand to lose”. This book has something for everybody that identifies with Africa.

– Williams Ekanem’s experience on stereotypes and misinformation about Sub-Saharan Africa and the Black world.

– Overview of US foreign aid and foreign relations with Africa, China’s presence in Africa, Africa’s potential and opportunities
