Documentary Screening: The Lost Ancestors on February 24, 2020

February 24, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please Join Northern Light Productions and The Institute for Nonprofit Practice
for an extraordinary evening featuring an important documentary film-in-progress:
The Lost Ancestors

This is the extraordinary story of Kwame Akoto-Bamfo, a young Ghanaian sculptor committed to restoring the memory of his ancestors lost to slavery. Kwame’s breathtaking sculptures of enslaved Africans greet the visitors at the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, AL, a memorial dedicated to the legacy of black victims of racial inequality in America.
We will share scenes and stories from the film for the first time and learn about the work and motivation of this inspiring young voice for change.

Please RSVP by calling the number or contacting email below. Thank you!
