Africans in Boston at the United Nations

Africans in Boston Executive Director Vivian Kobusingye Birchall will be speaking at a side
event to the Global South-South Development Expo taking place between 27 and 30
November at United Nations Headquarters.

The event is titled “Implementing the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular
Migration Through South-South Cooperation.” She will share experiences from
working with members of the African community in the Greater Boston area,
contributions the diaspora has made to home countries, and lessons for countries to
work with their citizens living overseas to improve development at home.
