DESCRIPTION:Bastille Day\, presented by our friends at the French Cultural Center\, returns to Marlborough Street for a celebration of Francophone cultures. The street party will fill the entire block with a stellar concert\, dancing\, festive food and drinks. Bastille Day\, France’s national holiday\, commemorates the birth of French democracy. \nThe line-up\, programmed by World Music/CRASHarts\, showcases two phenomenal Francophone acts: Ben l’Oncle Soul\, a French singer with a unique retro style\, and Daby Touré\, who enraptures audiences with his ethereal voice\, masterful guitar work and original songs. \nDelicious French food from eight standout restaurants in New England: Bar Boulud\, Bastille Kitchen\, La Voile (Boston and Brookline)\, Mr. Crêpe\, Teranga\, Waffle Cabin and Wilson Farm. Drinks\, including beer and wine\, will also be available for purchase. \nThis is a popular event\, and tickets sell quickly! This is a rain or shine event. Tickets are non-refundable.
